Overview
EnergiePrijs NL ("the App") is designed with your privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, or share any personal data. All your preferences are stored locally on your device.
Data We Do NOT Collect
- No personal information (name, email, phone number)
- No location data
- No usage analytics or tracking
- No advertising identifiers
- No data shared with third parties
Data Stored Locally on Your Device
The App stores the following data locally on your iPhone using Apple's standard storage mechanisms:

External Services
ENTSO-E Transparency Platform
The App fetches publicly available wholesale electricity prices from the European Network of Transmission System Operators (ENTSO-E). This is a public API that does not require or transmit any personal information. Only the Netherlands bidding zone is queried.
- Data fetched: Hourly wholesale electricity prices (EUR/MWh)
- Data sent: None (public API, no authentication required from users)

Apple App Store & Subscriptions
If you purchase EnergiePrijs NL Pro, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We do not receive or store any payment information. Apple's privacy policy applies to these transactions.

Widgets
Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets display cached price data. This data is shared between the main app and widgets using Apple's App Groups feature, which keeps data securely on your device.
Notifications
Price alert notifications are generated locally on your device. We do not use push notification servers or collect notification tokens.
Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect any data from children under 13. Since we collect no personal data from any user, no special provisions are necessary.
Data Retention
Since all data is stored locally on your device:
- Deleting the App removes all stored preferences
- We have no data to retain or delete on our end
Your Rights
Because we don't collect personal data, there is no data for us to provide, correct, or delete. You have full control over your locally stored preferences through the App's settings or by deleting the App.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the App and updating the "Last updated" date.
